Building, Services and Footprint Grows
DayStar added 2,250 square feet of floor space to our existing home office. This allows Daystar
to increase the size of our Network Operation Center (NOC). Along with the increase in size, we modernized
our monitoring equipment to provide a higher level of service. Additionally, we will be able to bring in more
technicians to help with our field service operations. Daystar's customer service is famous for its quick
response times. The expansion of the building and additional employees will allow even quicker response
times to service requests, new orders, and emergencies.
The newest investment is to add a state-of-the-art central office, wireless network enhancements,
added fiber capacity and improved customer premise equipment, all contributing to more reliable
service, faster data speeds and a broader set of business features and capabilities.
Also, we realize that businesses outside of our area have a need for increased bandwidth and
the local, friendly telecommunications services that we offer. We’re committed to helping satisfy
and grow to meet this demand. Not only have we increased our footprint in Sarasota, Port Charlotte,
Punta Gorda and Venice; we have expanded to Fort Myers, Naples Moorings and Naples.
Along with expanding our footprint we are upgrading our network and are offering new products
and services. We are dedicated to offering a superior state-of-the-art network that will handle
the complete range of today’s and tomorrow’s business telecommunication needs. With telecom
technology changing at a rapid place we are adding bounded DSL, Fiber, Point-to-Point Wireless,
VPNs and redundant path routing to meet your current and future business requirements.
DayStar has built and will continue to build a network that you can grow with for
years to come.
Unlike the big telephone companies, DayStar does not pass this kind of network
cost along to the current customer base. The level of additional investment by DayStar proves
our commitment to the Southwest Florida business communities, while providing our customers
with services that will help them be more competitive. When considering these technology
